Governor Wike recants…says Peter Obi is the winner of the presidential election

Surprise was the word when PDP party faithfuls in a gathering heard Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike say that Peter Obi of the Labour Party is the actual winner of the 2023 presidential election.

In a viral video Wike was heard in clear and unmistakable terms saying that no matter what happens that it is Peter Obi that won the election.

In his words “Peter Obi may not have been declared the winner of the election but he won and the law will take it’s course”

It will be recalled that Wike secretly supported the candidature of the APC Presidential Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu, making APC to come tops in the election, a first in history of APC winning other political parties in Rivers State.

Wike even said he supported Tinubu and asked Rivers people to vote for him for the unity of the country and benefit of Rivers State.
