Someone that said he will invite IPOB to Lagos was arrested but MC Oluomo walks free—Joe AJAERO, NLC President
Fire spitting President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comerade Joe AJAERO has said that the law was applied differently in the cases of the Eze Igbo, who threatened to bring the IPOB group to Lagos State, and Musiliu Adesanya otherwise known as MC Oluomo, Chairman of Lagos parks in who also threatened the Igbos prior to the 2023 Lagos governorship election.
The Eze Igbo was detained right away, according to the NLC President, whereas Mc Oluomo brags after threatening a whole ethnic community. He claimed that it’s regrettable that the Lagos administration purposefully chose not to hold Mc Oluomo accountable for his misdeeds.
Even the police spokesman CSP Muyiwa Adejobi said that MC Oluomo threat was a mere joke and should not be taken seriously.
The NLC president stated: “The development is a sad one and condemnable. As an Igbo, full-blooded Igbo, I tried to restrain myself and I don’t want it to sound like; we and them. But if somebody that is Igbo said he will invite IPOB to Lagos and he was arrested and invited. But somebody (Mc Oluomo) equally issued threat to the Igbos and he is moving about boasting, you can now see for yourself that there are two different laws in operation and this is very unfortunate.
If we know what MC Oluomo said and this has gone viral everywhere and you are a pretentious police who are not worthy to wear the uniforms. The comment of Mc Oluomo is real and for the fact that they don’t want to equally question him is unfortunate.”
