Because Seun Kuti did not support Peter Obi the Nigerian police is now their hero, Sowore blasts Obidients

Perennial presidential contestant and publisher of Sahara reporters Sowore Omoyele Sowore has lambasted the Obidients for taking sides with the Nigerian police on the altercation between a police officer and son of Afro music icon Fela, Seun Kuti.

Sowore in a tweet in his verified twitter handle is saying because Seun Kuti did not support Peter Obi presidential ambition that his supporters are urging the police to deal with Seun.

Sowore who has contested presidential election for four times now and who could not garner up to 12,000 votes in the February 25 presidential election is saying that it’s bad belle that is worrying the Obidients.

“If you acknowledge that you want Seun Kuti killed because he didn’t back Peter Obi for president in the 2023 election, there is nothing wrong with that. Even the police agreed to look into what caused the altercation between them and Seun Kuti earlier today on the Third Mainland bridge.

“Seun Kuti also agreed to assist investigators, but you want him put to death because he opposed Peter Obi. Because Seun Kuti is not supporting Peter Obi, the police who assisted Bola Ahmed Tinubu in rigging elections and the police who wrongfully executed young Nigerians at the end sars are suddenly your heroes.”

It will be recalled that the inspector general of police has ordered the arrest of Seun Kuti on the assault he meted out to a police man on uniform.

Seun Kuti on his part has given his own side of the story saying that the police man wanted to kill him and his family and as such he slapped him. He has also promised to cooperate with the police in their investigations.

However reports reaching out newsroom is that Seun Kuti is on the run and nowhere to be found as the police is making frantic efforts to arrest him.
