We write to heartily congratulate your Excellency, Mr. Governor on your successful winning of March Abia state Gubernatorial election and subsequent inauguration ceremony as the fifth executive governor of Abia state.

We are practitioners of Community Media, which is very close to the grassroots of all the communities in Nigeria.

Your victory at the polls was significant and divine considering the fact that this is about the third time you are contesting to be Abia state governor.

Knowing the unique history of governance of Abia particularly starting from the commencement of the third republic in 1999 it behoves on us to identify with you at this crucial stage of governance in Abia state.

Without mincing word Abia state has undergone very trying period with the three governors that have ruled the state in the last 24 years but like the saying goes the future is bright for those who will take it by the bull.

As an astute administrator and banker of no mean status it is the hope Abia indigenes that you will bring to bear your wealth of experience to the development and peaceful co existence of Abia state.

In doing this you will need the partnership and services of Community media practitioners. This is because as community media practitioners we traverse the nooks and crannies of communities in Nigeria. As such working with us will help your government reach out to the people at the grassroots.

We will bring out issues, challenges and problems of these communities to your door step. At the same time we will continually announce your projects and achievements to the good people of Abia state.

Finally we plead and urge you to put ears to the ground to know the problems and challenges of Abia state particularly in the area of road construction, road rehabilitation, infrastructural development, workers salary payment and security.

We are ready to pay you a visit and meet you to dialogue the way forward of Abia at your own earliest convenience.

Once again we say congratulations and wish you a very successful tenure as the executive governor of Abia state.
