Abia state govt did not buy cars for lawmakers…so no question of rejection—Alex Otti
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, Ferdinand Ekeoma on Monday debunked claims that members of the state house of assembly had rejected Innoson SUVs offered to them by his boss.
The CPS in response to a story that the lawmakers demanded Toyota Prado SUVs instead said there was no basis for such.
He said in an SMS that officials of the current administration had been operating with Innoson SUVs.
“The Governor has not bought any car for any house of assembly member. So, there is no basis for rejecting any car.
This is the type that all government appointees, including myself, drive. The car drives very well,” he said.
