Ask God to kill me before sunrise if I consult demonic forces—Pastor Adeboye
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye otherwise known as Daddy GO on Friday night, called on his congregants at the 2023 convention to pray for his death if he consults demonic powers.
Speaking at the church’s convention themed ‘Beyond Expectations,’ the cleric said his attention was drawn to some publications on the internet where some so-called prophets, clerics and groups of persons claimed he consults demons at Redemption City before mounting the altar to preach and prophesy to his members.
Addressing the allegation at the August Holy Ghost service, Adeboye urged the congregation to pray that he dies before sunrise if he is guilty.
He said he would not mind people spreading such rumours but while he was praying for the convention, it occurred to him that even some of his members may have believed the rumours spreading like wildfire.
In a bid to end the rumours, he said, “I want you to say this prayer, if Pastor Adeboye has any links with any demonic powers, let him die before the sun rises.
