Wearing pants & bra on campus now mandatory for all students… defaulters risk suspension–Ilaro Polytechnic SRC
The Student Representative Council,Federal Polytechnic Ilaro has reminded students to wear pants and bra on campus always.
This was sighted in a media release by our correspondent from the office of the speaker.
According to a release signed by Rt Honourable Makinde Oluwasegun said that it has become imperative for Students to wear pants and bra not just for their own comfort and safety but out of respect for fellow Students.
He said students who fail to comply with rules will face disciplinary actions.
Adedamola emphasized that the rule of the school on wearing appropriate clothing at all times still stands.
Speaking further,he said defaulters risk suspension and warning from the Polytechnic disciplinary committee if found wanting.
Empirical research studies have shown that most female students in Nigerian higher institutions no longer wear pants and bra to classes.
This has been confirmed not to be healthy to the sensibilities of the lecturers and male students as it tantamount to sexual harassments.
