Torrential rain & flood cause commotion and overtake houses & streets n Lagos
Flood has taken over many houses and streets in Lagos State following downpours that started in the early hours of today.
Many residents had been displaced while others were trying to salvage their property.
The rain which started around 2am this morning did not stop until 4pm.
By the time the rain stopped a lot of havoc has been caused as some houses were taken over by flood while most major roads and street were flooded with motorists finding it difficult to navigate through.
Most roads affected were Lagos -Badagry expressway, Ikorodu road and Lagos-ibadan expressway.
