Mixed reactions & anger as Tinubu turns presidential aircraft to celebrate 38th birthday party
Just five days after Seyi Tinubu, son of the president was spotted in Kano with presidential aircraft to watch his favourite game, Polo He was seen again yesterday inside the aircraft dancing and celebrating his 38th birthday.
A cross section of Nigerians are wondering when this impunity and assault on the major symbol of the country will end.
Although the impunity started some years ago when former president Buhari allowed her photographer daughter Haana to use presidential aircraft to cover her photography job in Bauchi.
With the suffering and hardship in the country this is not the best of time for children of political office holders to be insulting the sensibilities of Nigerians.
Some Nigerians are of the view that decorum should be accorded to the office of the president and all it’s appurtenances.
Added to this is the fact that it’s government money that will be used to fuel the aircraft in all these unofficial jamboree and frivolities.
