40 years old bricklayer, arrested for raping a prophetess inside the church

A Mason who allegedly stormed a church in Abeokuta, Ogun State and forcefully raped a prophetess at knifepoint has been arrested by police operatives in the state.

The 40-year-old suspect, identified as Lekan Sunday, was arrested on Monday, October 16, four days after he allegedly committed the crime in the Ilogbo Adu area of Kemta.

He was said to have stormed the church with weapons and met the victim sleeping. He later forcefully raped her at knifepoint despite her plea. He was arrested after the victim reported the crime at a nearby police station.

Ogun residents are questioning the sanity of people who no longer fear God and enter his house to rape a woman of God.
