Like Tinubu Kwara state Governor Abdulrazaq appoints youth corp member as commissioner
The Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has nominated an ex-corps member, who has just finished the mandatory one year service to the nation, Miss Musa Nafisat Buge as Commissioner-designate in Kwara State.
Reacting to the nomination, the NYSC Kwara State Coordinator, Mr. Onifade on behalf of the Director General of the scheme, Brigadier General Yisha’u Dogara Ahmed, and the entire NYSC family appreciated the Governor for the honour bestowed on the patriotic Nigerian, describing as a clear testimony of the passion the number one citizen of State has for the graduate youths.
The State Coordinator said that the kind gesture of Mr. Governor was an incontrovertible fact that given the right atmosphere, the graduate youths will excel in whatever capacity they are placed considering the training they have undergone beginning with the orientation course and throughout the service year.
“Your consideration of someone who has just finished the service has filled the Scheme and the entire youth constituency in the state with a strong sense of pride and I would like to appreciate His Excellency for this rare feat and singular honour done to boost the morale of the youths.”
The NYSC Kwara State boss said that considering the enormous responsibilities of the exalted office of the Governor, has once again reiterated his commitment towards youth development, and this has placed his administration above others in similar responsibility, and a demonstration of His Excellency’s passion to reckon with the youths.
He stated further that His Excellency’s continued support for the Scheme and entire youths was a clear example that the youth-friendly leadership style of Mr. Governor is worthy of emulation, and he applauded the administration as epitome of honour to the youths.
The NYSC helmsman in Kwara State used the platform to congratulate the Commissioner designate, Miss Musa Nafisat Buge on the honour bestowed on her and asserted the she would continue to remain a proud ambassador of the Scheme.
It is on record that Miss Buge served the nation diligently and meritoriously by contributing her quota to the development of the fatherland. The nominee is indeed a true patriot with exceptional zeal who participated profoundly in both community and national development.
“Your Excellency Sir, her nomination did not come as a surprise because NYSC is known to prepare the youths for such positions of leadership. Her nomination will drive His Excellency’s agenda towards fulfilling his mandate and bring dividends of democracy to the good people of Kwara State.”
He thanked the governor for identifying with the objectives of the laudable Scheme which encouraged His Excellency to pitch his tent with the focus-driven and result-oriented youths under the umbrella of the National Youth Service Corps.
