Nigeria Super Eagles wallops cameroun 2-0 & zooms to quarter finals…to play Angola in quarter finals

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations by defeating the Indomitable Lion of Cameroon 2-0

Lookman scored a brace in Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Cameroon in the second match of the Round of 16 matches played in Ivory Coast at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny stadium.

Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman scored the opening goal for Nigeria in the 36th minute after Napoli goal poacher Victor Osihmen set a perfect assist to put Nigeria ahead. he then added the second goal in stoppage time

Super Eagles dominated the game in all departments and outclassed the Lions of Cameroun who could hardly put a goal bound shot to the Eagles net.

Nigeria will now play Angola in the quarter finals. Angola reached the quarter finals stage by whipping Nambia 3-0 .
