Again Many feared killed as suspected herdsmen attack Benue community
Several people have been feared dead and many others injured after suspected herdsmen attacked the Adijah community in Ugbokpo, Apa local government area of Benue state.
The incident, which reportedly happened on Thursday afternoon has caused residents to flee to neighbouring villages.
The attackers were said to have stormed the village, which is located a few kilometres away from the Otukpo-Oweto Road, and opened fire on residents, killing an unspecified number of villagers, reports The Nation.
The number of casualties was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
