Veteran comic nollywood actor John Okafor aka Mr Ibu is dead. He was Aged 62 years

Mr Ibu, Nollywood veteran has died. The actor whose real name is John Okafor was 62.

According to multiple reports from sources close to him, the veteran comedian passed away at Evercare hospital.

For months now Mr Ibu has been down with undisclosed illness that has confined him to hospital bed. But just recently he was discharged from hospital and he granted on air personality Chude a viral interview in which he said among other things that if not for God he would have gone since.

Also recently kind hearted Nigerians especially former Senate president and Governor of Kwara state Bukola Saraki donated huge sins of money to take care of his hospital expenses.

In the same vein the public money donated has been a source of family wranglings between Mr Ibu son, wife and step daughter with three of then being guests to police stations on account of misappropriation of donated money.

Many fans have shared condolences on X, reminiscing movies the late actor has featured.
