I don’t have N15 million to give you people…I don’t trust you’ —Verydarkman berates EFCC over Bobrisky allegations
Social media personality, Martins Vincent Otse, a.k.a VeryDarkMan, has replied the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The VeryDarkMan, responding, said the agency had extended an invitation to Verydarkman and Bobrsky to come to their offices to clarify alleged corrupt practices he linked the commission’s officers with, reports Vanguard.
But responding to the invitation, he said:
“Before you (EFCC) invite someone like me, do a deep investigation on your officers first. When you get the result from your officers who handled Bobrisky’s file then you can invite me.
“You are telling me to come to Lagos and the headquarters of EFCC is in Abuja, it makes no sense. You should, instead, invite Bobrisky to Abuja and do your investigation.
“Lastly, why I would not go to Lagos is that I don’t have N15 million to pay for anything. I don’t have any godfather anywhere and I don’t want to be framed. I don’t trust you and I won’t go (to Lagos),” Vanguard reports the social media influencer as saying
The response is a fallout of an earlier video in which VeryDarkMan played an audio recording purportedly belonging to social media personality, Bobrisky.
In the video, the cross dresser alleged that he was asked to pay N15 million to have a money laundering charge preferred against him the commission to be dropped.
That allegation did not go down well with the EFCC which said the two should come to its officers to offer further explanation.
According to VeryDarkMan, he won’t be honouring the invitation citing both the fact that he did not reside in Abuja nor have trust in the commission.
