President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced a two-week annual leave
According to Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.
He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
He will return to the country after the leave expires.
The abroad two weeks vacation is coming in the heels of a presidential Independence day speech in which the president advised Nigerians to endure and tighten their belts as better days are coming.
The two weeks presidential leave comes with huge cost to the federal government as Tinubu will be going with a retinue of sides and presidential jet will be parked and paid for throughout the duration of fourteen or even more days of the leave.
