NYSC members cry out after receiving N33,000 instead of N77,00 announced by federal government as new monthly allowance
The members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have expressed their displeasure after receiving alerts of N33,000 instead of N77,000 announced by the Federal Government.
Recall that the Federal Government on September 25, 2024, officially raised the monthly allowance for Corps members, effective from July 2024.
This adjustment aligns with the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024, which will substantially enhance the welfare package for corps members.
