It’s wrong and unthinkable for Seyi Tinubu to take military salute—Bode George
Former military governor of Ondo state and a PDP chieftain General Olabode George has come out to condemn in strong terms recent viral video of son of the president Seyi Tinubu taking salute from a contingent of a paramilitary outfit.
Bode George voiced this out on a channels television interview where he cautioned the young man to take it easy.
According to him “I saw a video of Seyi, President Tinubu’s son taking a quarter guard salute. Even when we had Military heads of state, not one of their children ever dare to be taking a quarter guard salute”
He further said It is absolutely irresponsible, and wish to advise that Seyi Tinubu steer clear of people trying to push him into doing things that he will never be able to defend.
Hear him speaking further “It’s unthinkable. Baba Obasanjo has a son who is a Brigadier-General now, did he ever go to represent his father and be taking a salute…”
Last week Nigerians were assaulted with the viral video of the son of the president inspecting a guard of honour and taking salute from a contingent of a paramilitary outfit.
The video was tagged, office of the first son inspecting guard of honour.
Since the ascension of Tinubu as president his son Seyi Tinubu and daughter Folashade have been constituting nuisance and insulting the sensibilities of Nigeria with their public conduct and utterances.
Seyi Tinubu is often seen with scores of both the army, police, Civil defence and other security agencies as body guards with long convoy of vehicles.
