Why I took a short break from Movies for Tech is to embrace change and pursue new paths—Actress Bukky Wright
Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright, has shares her inspiring shift, transitioning from movies to tech while still keeping a foot in the entertainment industry.
Bukky in an interview with Punch while also speaking on her versatility and adaptability, revealed that she loves and missed her Nigerian roots, from her favourite Amala and the camaraderie of acting with Nollywood stars.
In her words, “I will be practicing tech simultaneously with entertainment. The fact that I had to deviate totally from entertainment to tech was something many people thought I would not be able to do. I would tell all my mentees that if I can do it, they can do it too.”
Her message to her mentees is powerful, too, reminding them that they can embrace change and pursue new paths, no matter how unexpected.
On her possible return to the screen, “I have a lot for fans, including my project— ‘The Return of Omotara Johnson’, which is coming and a whole lot of other things. I am back to stay.”
