Security vote was just passed in January & you don’t expect government to secure everyone by April— Senator Jimoh Ibrahim

Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South, has called for patience and shared responsibility as the country prepares for the national security summit convened by the Nigerian Senate. Speaking in an Arise TV interview the senator stated that while President Bola Tinubu approved a security budget earlier in January, expectations for everyone to be secure by April are unrealistic.Travel destinations

Ibrahim emphasized that President Tinubu has not yet spent two years in office and urged Nigerians to understand that national security is a gradual process that requires everyone’s effort.

“The President passed the security budget in January. We don’t expect everyone to be secure by April,” he said. “He’s not been president for up to two years, and every Nigerian should also know that they owe themselves the responsibility of securing themselves.”
