Redeemed church pastor ,Michael beats & strangles wife to death in Rivers state & on the Run
A man simply identified as Chidozie Michael, alleged to be a pastor with Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is currently on the run after he was said to have strangled his wife, Ufuoma Michael to death at their apartment in Rivers State.
The incident was said to have taken place at Isaiah road by Chindah in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. The late Ufuoma Michael, a teacher with a private school not too far from her residence was beaten and strangled to death by her husband, Chidozie Michael who is said to be on the run currently.
Eyewitnesses narrated that Ufuoma, a mother of three boys, who were of age 10, 7 and 5 respectively, was pronounced dead by medical experts at a private hospital yesterday where she was rushed to by her brother.
The late Ufuoma colleagues narrated to our correspondent, Agenda Papers that, she was always been beaten by her husband by any slightest provocation.
After strangling her to death, Michael locked the deceased and her three children up in their apartment before calling her brother that, there was an issue at home, and that, he should rush to the house to sort it out. Unknown to the young man that, Michael has killed his wife and ran away.
“The body of the late Ufuoma has since been deposited in the morgue as the husband is still at large. The children are also in police custody pending when family members will come to claim them”.
