Senior customs officer & a chief superintendent of customs shoots self to death in Kano

A Chief Superintendent of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Abdullahi Abdulwahab Magaji, has tragically taken his own life in Kano State.

“Magaji, who was serving at the NCS headquarters in Abuja, reportedly shot himself with a pump-action gun at his residence in Kano a few days ago,” says a breaking news by Daily Sun.

“The motive behind his action remains unclear,” the paper says.

It quotes the Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, as confirming the incident and stating that “a full-scale investigation has been initiated.”
