Inspector General of Police orders arrest of superintendent of Police for wife snatching & sending victim to prison
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered for investigation over the allegations against a senior Police officer, ASP Cosmas Ezeofor, a.k.a Tam Tam, at the SCID Yaba, for sending a man to prison after snatching his wife and collected #14m Mercedes Benz GLK in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the man in question, Vincent Okoloneli, got married to his embattled wife, Onyinye Angela Anaka, 12 years ago and they had no issue due to some medical conditions as she was unable to get pregnant.
According to embittered Vincent Okoloneli, apart from ASP Ezeofor snatching his wife, Onyinye, he ensured that he destroyed his marriage. Thereafter, he conspired with Onyinye and collected his Mercedes Benz SUV worth N14m as bribe for bail and later sent him to prison to die.
Following the petition to IGP Egbetokun by the embattled Vincent, the IGP directed his Monitoring Unit at the Lagos Annex led by the Commmander, ACP O.M. Oladeinde, to investigate the alleged conduct by ASP Cosmas Ezeofor.
So far, the IGP Monitoring Unit has already taken action and arrested ASP Cosmas Ezeofor and he is being interrogated over his conduct at State CID, Panti, over confiscation of a Mercedes Benz GLK, gold chain, and other properties belonging to Vincent on the order of his estranged wife.
In a petition to the IGP sighted by P.M.EXPRESS from a human rights organization, AMPEF, led by Comrade Prince Saviour Iche, to ensure justice, ASP Ezeofor arrested Vincent Okoloneli as ordered by Onyinye Angela Anaka on allegation of theft proven to be false as the couple during the course of marriage had acquired properties with joint resources.
