OKEAFA, MAGBORO, IBAFO RESIDENTS SUFFER OVER ONE MONTH BLACK OUT
For more than four weeks now residents have been without steady supply of electricity occasioned by frequent breakdown of equipment and unseriousness of the IBEDC staff.
In these communities once there is sign of rainfall residents will know that they will not have light. True to prediction if the rain falls the Communities will be thrown into darkness for days.
The worst aspect of it is that the residents are billed for Electricity not consumed as over 95% of the residents are on estimated billing meaning that whether power is supplied or not they must get a bill at the end of the day.
Residents are now clamouring for a way out of this decades of black out. Some are asking for the communities to be taken to Ikeja Distribution company as their supply company while some residents are itching to totally move out of the community back to Lagos where they believe that they will have improved power supply.
