Gunmen kidnap over 20 UNIMAID & UNIJOS medical students on annual convention in Benue state
Over 20 medical and dental students, along with a House Officer, have been kidnapped by gunmen in Benue State.
The students, from the University of Maiduguri and the University of Jos, were on their way to attend the annual convention of the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students, FECAMDS, in Enugu, reports Nigerian Tribune.
The kidnapping occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the Otukpo area of Benue State, where the students were ambushed by the gunmen while travelling together.
