Arsenal back to winning ways….thrash Leicester 4-2

Arsenal managed a 4-2 win over Leicester City, but needed two injury-time goals to claim three points.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side continued their fine start to the Premier League season with a 4-2 win over a stubborn Leicester City side at the Emirates.

With the Gunners cruising to a 2-0 half-time lead thanks to Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, things went south rather quick after the restart.

The Gunners huffed and puffed before an unfortunate Wilfred Ndidi own goal from a defelction and a Kai Havertz tap-in (if you would call it that) gave the Gunners a vital win.

Here are three takeaways from the win over Leicester.

1. Gabriel Martinelli finds his shooting boots…finally

Gabriel Martinelli scored his first Premier League goal since March

Is this the beginning of something substantial from Gabi?

The Brazilian opened the scoring in the 20th minute and while it wasn’t the cleanest strike, it had the desired result.

After months of struggling, is this the turning point for Martinelli to build on and become a force again for the Gunners?
