Tinubu appointing four ministers from Ogun State and entire South East five minister is an aberration & divisive—Professor Udenta. O. Udenta, Ex Secretary Of Alliance For Democracy
A former Secretary of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) Professor Udenta. O. Udenta has decried the situation where president Tinubu has appointed four ministers from Ogun whereas the whole South East as a region has five minister.
With Jumoke Oduwole’s appointment, Ogun State now boasts four ministers in the federal cabinet. Other ministers from Ogun state include: Adekunle Salako (Minister of State for Environment); Bosun Tijani (Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy); and Wale Edun (Minister of Finance).
Professor Udenta bemoaned the irregularities on Channels television with Seun Okinbaloye.
He further said with that the Tinubu-led government will not expect cooperation and involvement from other geo political zones as the government lack inclusivity.
Professor Udenta did not stop there he also said that the security apparatus of the Federal government is in the hands of the South West ranging from Inspector General of Police, EFCC chairman, Customs comptroller general, Immigration comptroller general, chief of army staff etc.
Also in the hands of South West according to Professor Udenta is the ecomomy where the finance and Coordinating Minister of the economy, CBN governor, FIRS chairman, minister of blue ecomomy etc.
Further more he said that this Tinubu’s regime is suffering from legitimacy problems saying that the government may be legal by virtues of court but may not be legitimate because of the way and manner the election was conducted and the government came in.
