I will take Ohanaeze ndi Igbo to the next level—Iwuanyanwu
The newly elected president-general of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo worldwide Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has promised to take the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization to the next level.
Iwuanyanwu made this statement in his acceptance speech as the new head of the group.
This is after the Imeobi confirmed Iwuanyanwu as the new leader of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo worldwide.
Imeobi is the highest decision making organ of the Ohanaeze ndi Igbo and it’s the only organ saddled with the responsibility of confirmation of a new leader.
It will be recalled that Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma a fortnight ago nominated the Ikeduru, Imo state born business man and politician to the exalted position of the president-general of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo worldwide.
Iwuanyanwu is taking over and also completing the tenure of late professor of international affairs George Obiozor who died last year.
