Army declares War on IPOB & vows to stop Sit-at-Home orders in South-East

The Nigerian military has issued a bold and final warning to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), vowing to end their reign in the South-East and permanently dismantle the sit-at-home culture imposed on residents.

At a high-level security briefing on Thursday, Maj. Gen. Markus Kangye, the Director of Defence Media Operations, admitted that while fear still grips some residents, the military’s operations are gaining momentum in restoring peace and normalcy across the region.

“Who gave the order? IPOB/ESN criminals,” Kangye stated. “That is why Operation Udo Ka was established—just like Operation Hadin Kai in the North-East.

The past three commanders have worked tirelessly to ensure people feel safe enough to resume their normal lives. We are working hard to completely free the South-East from IPOB/ESN influence.”
