I will not be surprised if tomorrow INEC declares for APC–Dele Momodu on Channels Television .

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dele Momodu has said it will not surprise him if by tomorrow the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) decamps declares for All Progressive Congr(APC).

The former presidential aspirant stated this on a Channels television live programme and he sounded a note of warning that this portends danger for the polity and the country.

The publisher of ovation magazine bemoaned the situation where people elected on a political party platform defect to another party stressing that it may lead to a one party state.

He accused Tinubu of using arm twisting tactics to force people into the APC particularly the governors who are blackmailed and subtly intimidated to leave their party to APC.

But he is of the view that as a student of political history of Nigeria this kind of arrangements does not last forever. He questioned the place of political parties like NPN or powerful personalities like Sanni Abacha today.
