Embattled factional labour party chairman, Apapa disgraced and thrown out of court room

There was tension this afternoon as the controversial factional leader of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa was booed out of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal by Labour Party supporters.

Earlier before proceedings in the court, there was a mild drama which later became confrontational, when Apapa dragged seat with Professor Akin Osuntokun over a reserved place meant for litigants.

The Frontier sighted a video on the social which showed Apapa being booed and disgraced out of the tribunal by LP supporters. There were shouts of “Ole” (thief), “We don’t know you!”, “Nobody knows this man!,” being jeered at Apapa as he was being dragged out by security agents while the paparazzi had a field day snapping away.

Apapa is purportedly an agent of the opposition being paid to work against the petition filed by the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi and his party, LP, against the declared winner of the 2023 presidential election held on February 25, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Apapa has also been making comments in support of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu making political observers to draw conclusion that he is on a mission to destabilize the labour party and it’s pursuit for fair hearing in the presidential election tribunal.
