Chief of Defence staff has come out to say that the crisis in Benue is beyond what the military can solve.
He rather called for political solutions even as President Tinubu visits the blood dripping middle belt state.
The CDS said there is nothing like farmers-herders conflict but insisted that the animals that invade people’s farms that is the major cause of the clash.
He also observed that the issue of animal rustling could also be linked to the movement of animals must be urgently addressed.
General Musa further said that the issue of land which results in violent attacks between indigenes and non indigenes has become critical and only a political solution will be the answer.
