A Nigerian woman, Dr. Fortune Gomo, has tragically lost her life in the United Kingdom, just days after completing her PhD at the University of Dundee.
According to a report shared on social media platform X by Prince Adeshina, the incident occurred in broad daylight on South Road in Dundee.
Dr. Gomo was reportedly walking with her 10-year-old daughter around 4:25 p.m. when she was stabbed. Despite the swift response of emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have since arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with the incident.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the attack are ongoing.
