A lady has narrated how a Nigerian man based in the UK had his wife deported after she allegedly abused him.
According to the lady, the man, who works as a carer, had sponsored his wife’s relocation to the country After she arrived, however, she reportedly began to abuse her husband and called the police on him at one stage
The story was shared on social media by a woman, who remarked that men in the UK no longer tolerate abuse from their wives
According to the woman’s story, the man, who works as a carer, sponsored his wife to join him in the UK after they married in Nigeria.
However, she reportedly changed when she arrived in the UK and made fun of his occupation, allegedly abusing him and even threatening to call the police on him.
Ahmed Yusuf and his first wife Safiya got divorced She claimed there were also times when the husband was physically assaulted and another time when she did indeed contact the authorities to try and get him arrested.
Having endured the alleged domestic violence and abuse, and after reporting his marital travails to her family to no avail, the man filed for a divorce and reported his wife to the authorities.
She was reportedly taken off his Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) and eventually deported back to Nigeria.
