Social Critic, Isaac Fayose, has stated that KWAM 1’s airport behaviour could land him three criminal charges if it were overseas
He further claimed the singer’s public outburst was dangerous and sent a bad message to fans .
The junior brother of Ayo Fayose, former Ekiti state governor revealed that he spent ₦5 million on K1 but now regrets the gesture .
As such he is requesting Kwam1 to refund the N5 million he sprayed on him recently.
Fayose said the singer’s behaviour was not only embarrassing but would have had severe legal consequences if it had happened outside Nigeria.
He didn’t mince words when listing the offences he believed K1 would have faced abroad.
Fayose stated: “If this was in the UK, America, Europe or even South Africa, you’d be arrested immediately. Your first count will be assault… assaulting airline officials. Second count will be attempted s*icide. The third will be attempted s*icide on a legend. That you’re a legend. You don’t own yourself again — we own you.”
According to Fayose, celebrities like K1 carry a responsibility beyond their personal freedom.
Their actions, he argued, are watched and copied by countless fans.
He further, said that the incident was more than just a heated exchange; it was a dangerous precedent.
He added: “How can someone we look up to be doing this kind of thing?” he asked. “Snoop Dogg or Jay-Z will never try this in America. But here, we let things slide.” Fayose stressed that K1’s public meltdown sent the wrong message, especially in a country where respect for rules is already shaky.
