A Nigerian Pastor popularly known as Apostle Barnabas has come out to award a N70,000 allowance to any member of his church who is 70 years and above.
The fiery clergy man made the pronouncement publicly in a viral video in which he said that the gesture will last till the beneficiary breathes last in death.
He further said that he is doing it out of his mind and not through the prompting or hearing any voice of the Holy Spirit but on his conviction to help the elderly due to hardship in the country.
He revealed that about 95% of clergy men who said they heard the voice of the holy spirit to do anything are mere lies and falsehood.
In conclusion he said the payment will be through cash transfer and not cash as according to him it is wrong to share raw cash inside the church.
He therefore urged his members who are 70 years and above to go to his office to register with their account details for easy transfers.
