The covener of Free Nnamdi Protest Yele Sowore has offered more clarifications on what he is advocating for the incarcerated Igbo freedom fighter Nnamdi Kanu.
Sowore made this open in his latest Facebook post in which he declared:
What we are demanding is justice, end to illegal,unjust, unfair, discriminatory, inhumane & degrading treatment of Nnamdi Kanu and not pardon.
The 2023 AA presidential candidate has been in the forefront for the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu and has slated October, 20,2025 as the day Nigerians will converge and March to Aso Rock presidential villa to protest for his release.
Few days ago President Buhari pardoned over 175 Nigerians convicted and sentenced to death and other jail terms for committing various crimes against Nigeria and humanity. Among crimes committed and forgiven are murder, looting, large scale stealing, insurrection among others.
