Arsenal have moved six points clear at the top of the table after beating Tottenham 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners made the most of Man City’s slip-up at Newcastle United as they produced an outstanding display to secure bragging rights over their North London rivals and strengthen top spot in the Premier League.
It was one-way traffic from kick-off and Arsenal made the most of their domination as goals from Leandro Trossard and Eberechi Eze gave the hosts a 2-0 lead at the interval.
While Thomas Frank will have hoped the half-time break would have resulted in a change in fortune and momentum, Arsenal made it 3-0 just 36 seconds into the second half as Eze scored his second of the game.
Richarlison gave the visitors a glimmer of hope as he reduced the deficit 10 minutes later, but the inspired Eze wrapped up the perfect afternoon as he completed his hat-trick 14 minutes from time.
