Professor of political economy Pat Utomi has come out to state categorically that he is cock sure that Peter Obi will emerge as the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Professor Utomi said this on the Channel television program of Politics today with Jeffrey Uzoma.
He did not stop there as he said the moment Peter Obi accepts to be the vice presidential candidate of anybody he will quit and withdraw his support.
Going further he said that Nigerians should start campaigning against electing anybody above 70 years as Nigeria cannot be avenue to be paying medical bills of their presidents. He gave example with himself saying in a month’s time he will be 70 years and he will not be eligible to contest for any political position again.
On December 31st, 2025 former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi dumped the party to join the main opposition party, ADC.
