Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced that she has forgiven her estranged husband and father of her son, Olakunle Churchill, bringing an end to more than a decade of public disputes and legal battles that followed their troubled marriage.
The actress made the revelation in an emotional post shared on her Facebook page, where she reflected on what she described as divine intervention in the long-standing rift between herself and Churchill.
According to Dikeh, the reconciliation came after ten years marked by broken communication, bitterness, and public confrontations. She credited the restoration of peace to faith, humility, and persistent prayers, particularly those of their child.
“What looked impossible and beyond repair has been touched by mercy,” she wrote, noting that peace has replaced chaos and respect has returned where anger once existed.
Dikeh expressed gratitude to Churchill for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s guidance, stating that obedience and forgiveness played key roles in the reconciliation process. She emphasized that the renewed relationship is focused on co-parenting and the well-being of their child.
The actress also used the moment to encourage others facing prolonged personal conflicts not to lose hope, assuring them that healing and restoration are possible with faith and perseverance.
In her message, Dikeh acknowledged the influence of her spiritual mentor, Pastor Jerry Eze, whom she thanked for guiding her spiritual growth over the years.
The reconciliation marks a significant turning point in one of Nollywood’s most publicized celebrity separations, drawing widespread reactions from fans and followers across social media.
