The former England Captain Wayne Rooney has come out to criticize the recent Confederation of African Football (CAF) decision to upturn the victory of Senegal in the January concluded African Nations championship and handed it to host nation and finalist Morocco.
The former Manchester United skipper said football matches are played and won inside the football pitch and not on boardroom tables.
Few days ago CAF awarded 3-0 match bonus victory in the final match to Morocco against the winner Senegal.
CAF further directed Senegal to return the coverted cup but Senegal had stuck it’s neck saying they will not return the AFCON cup.
