A Chinese woman has been captured throwing an estimated $162,247 (approximately N218.2 million) in cash from the balcony of her high-rise apartment after a ‘fight with her husband.’
The incident reportedly occured in Guangdong Province in China.
The money triggered a frenzy as residents and passersby rushed to pick up some notes for themselves.
According to Mail Online, Property management officials confirmed the cash is genuine, though unverified reports claim the incident may have stemmed from a dispute with her husband.
Another claim suggested that the woman was emotionally distressed after hearing about a family friend’s illness.
