A tragic double fatality involving a Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) evangelist and his wife occurred in Ogun State, Nigeria.
The incident began as a violent domestic dispute in the early hours of Monday, August 31, 2026.
Evangelist Abidemi Odukoya, the Shepherd-in-Charge of the CCC Iri Orun Parish in Akiode Ibogun, engaged in a severe argument with his wife, Adenike Odukoya.
During the physical fight, the evangelist slammed his wife’s head against a wall, causing severe head trauma, and then fled the house.
Their son raised an alarm, prompting neighbors to rush over.only to find Adenike in a pool of blood gasping for breath.
Due to the late hour and with no vehicle to immediately transport her to a hospital she succumbed to her injuries and gave up the ghost.
At about 6am the following day eyewitnesses revealed that they saw Bidemi at Iyana Coker, Ifo axis of the Lagos-Abeokuta Express Road.
He threw himself on a Dangote truck that was passing and he dled on the spot.
