Fresh controversy has erupted on the true identity of Ogun senator and APC Governorship candidate in the 2027 election, Solomon Adeola popularly known as Yayi.
The bubble this time was bursted by former Ijebu-East Local Government Chairman Wale Adedayo in an explosive interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Channel Television.
The former council boss swears that he has exclusive on the origin and personality of Yayi which he will release very soon.
The veteran journalist and ex Punch Newspaper political editor submitted that Yayi can never win the upcoming Ogun Gubernatorial election as according to him the eyes of Ogun state people have opened and cannot be deceived again.
It will be recalled that critics and some local indigenous people have continuously questioned Yayi’s exact roots, alleging that he does not possess genuine Ogun State lineage.
The widely claimed position is that his family origins trace elsewhere like Lagos or Ekiti State rather than the senatorial districts he represents mow. Also the viral claims and local petitions specifically insist that Yayi has alternative birth names and family names like Sulaiman Ogunleye and that the name Solomon Adeola is concorted.
