Quarrel between Basket Mouth & AY not ordinary & beyond what people see on surface—-Comedian Ali Baba

King of comedy in Nigeria Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome popularly known as Ali Baba has said that the more than a decade long beef and quarrel between two comedians Basket Mouth and AY is very deep and beyond what Nigerians are seeing on the surface.

Making this known on live television in the ‘Artist of the week’ programme on channels television Ali Baba said contrary to views held by many that he has not done anything to settle the matter that on many occasions he has intervened talking to each of them to call for truce but he has been rebuffed.

Recounting how both comedians came to limelight and prominence Ali Baba said at one point in time both Basket Mouth and AY were living in his house and from his house branched off and established themselves.

Probing further into the matter Ali Baba revealed at a certain stage when he delved deeply into the bone of contention and asked certain questions both comedians told him to stay off that particular area and that they are not ready to discuss that particular area.

But the hilarious comedian gave a ray of hope that both comedians will one day reconcile as he is not giving up but working assiduously to see to the amicable resolution of the beef.

The anchor of the interview reminded Ali Baba that the beef is not healthy and not doing the reputation of the comedy industry any good.

Recall that comedian AY recently vowed that he wouldn’t mind going to the grave without reconciling with fellow comedian Basket Mouth.
