Tinubu bans niger delta militant Asari Dokubo from Aso Rock

Requests for courtesy visits by notable militant leaders and ethnic militias from the oil-rich region to Tinubu in the villa have lately been disapproved by the presidency.

This followed are strong indications that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has barred all ex-Niger Delta militant leaders from visiting him in the presidential villa, Abuja.

An unconfirmed report has it Asari Dokubo has made overtures to see Tinubu the second time in Aso Rock but this has been rebuffed.

There was public outrage in June when Asari Dokubo not only visited Tinubu in Aso Rock but took pictures with him.

Still basking in the euphoria of visiting the president he addressed the press within the precincts of Aso Rock where he lambasted the military and accused them of being behind oil bunkering in Niger Delta and the general insecurity in the country.

Asari Dokubo has been seen as untouchable with many atrocious and felonious activities he has involved himself in recent times.

In the same month of June he was seen brandishing AK47 riffle and making highly inflammatory statements against some sections of the country.

Also last month July Asari Dokubo organized fellow militants to attack and disrupt the peaceful protest of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

The NLC protest was frequent astronomical jerk up of fuel pump prices and general hardship and sufferings in the country.
