Tinubu sacks Lauretta Onochie as NNDC chairman six months after appointment
President Bola Tinubu has sacked former senior aide to ex president Buhari in social media Lauretta Onochie as chairman of the oil rich Niger Delta Development Commission (NNDC)
The sacking is sequel to the dissolution of the board by the president.

Hon. Namdas Abdulrazak – Zonal Representative – North East
Sen. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir – Zonal Representative – North West
Lauretta Onochie tenure as NNDC chairman is said to be the shortest lasting for just six months.
Even the six months she was at helms of affairs at the commission was characterized by back bitting, in fighting and catenkerous dispositions as insider sources said she was regularly fighting with the managing director and other members of the board.
Onochie tenure as public officer is seen by many Nigerians as one not too pleasant and stained with bad testimonials.
Her stint as special adviser on social media to Buhari was marked with controversy, insults, inappropriate use of words to Nigerians and particularly to the opposition political parties.
Also attempts to make Onochie INEC commissioner hit the rocks as wide range of petitions and discontent followed her nomination and at the end of the day was roundly and eventually rejected by the senate.
