Nigerians berate Adams Oshiomole for keeping silent on attack on NLC president, Joe Ajaero
A cross section of Nigerians have come out hard on Senator Adams Oshiomole for keeping mum days after his fellow comrade and successor as labour leader Joe Ajaero was attacked and humiliated in Imo state.
Their disenchantment is predicated on the fact that Adams Oshiomole was a former NLC president and wondered if he will sanction it if such treatment was meted out to him while in office.
For Sunny Agboju, a budding entrepreneur he is of the opinion that the heart of Adams Oshiomole left Labour 13 years ago when he joined politics. He used and dumped Labour. What you were seeing was a pretentious Labour-Adams. What you see now is the real APC-Adams and that can never synchronize with Labour expectations. The Labour in Adams is dead!
In the same vein is the displeasure of Pastor Chukwuemeka Kalu an activist and community leader in Okeafa/Magboro area of Ogun state when he said It is rather unfortunate that not only Adams but a lot of those in government are not concerned. If NLC, a watchdog, could be attacked without a corresponding reaction then welcome to the “Banana Republic”.
As for Accountant Uche Ebere he is so pissed off with the whole episode that his reactions came in the form of rhetorical questions and he asked are you not aware that because of Peter Obi current NLC President is being scorned by Tinubu and his security apparatchik?
It is the same lack of surprise for the turncoat of Adams Oshiomole with Kelechi Ogbamgba, publisher and editor in chief of Century newspaper when he said Adams has of course long left the train. Don’t you notice he has abandoned his khaki toga?
But to some Nigerians they are of the opinion that it serves Joe Ajaero right as they are accusing him of meddling in the local politics of Imo state as said by Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma.
Other aggrieved Nigerians are saying that they are not happy with this crop of current labour leadership as they believe that they are not pushful enough to get the government to be on their toes and deliver good governance.
