I’m being hated by my inferiors for not having superiors—Musician Burna Boy
Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has disclosed the reasons behind the animosity directed toward him within the music industry.
Burna Boy attributed the disdain from his peers to their feeling of inferiority in comparison to him, claiming that he lacked equals in his field.
This revelation was shared by the controversial musician on his social media platform on Saturday alongside a photo of himself.
The controversial singer posted on his X handle. He wrote, “Hated by my inferiors for having no superiors”.
Burna Boy has consistently voiced his belief that he faces hatred from fellow Nigerians.
In his recent album “I Told Them,” specifically in the track “Thank You,” he implied that despite consistently bringing honour to the country, his efforts are not duly recognized.
Burna Boy lamented the spread of rumours among Nigerians, such as insinuations about his mother’s involvement as one of the dancers of the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti.
Additionally, there have been suggestions that the absence of a baby mama in his life, unlike many of his peers, might be due to impotency.
