Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been Sworn In As Ondo State Governor
He was sworn in by the Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Olusegun Odusola, in Akure today
Aiyedatiwa was sworn in at the governor’s office at exactly 5:14 pm
Present at the ceremony include the Speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, members of the assembly, the secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu and the state chairman of the ruling party APC, Ade Adetimehin.
Others include members of the EXCO, political office holders and other party members.
With the swift swearing in of Lucky as substantive governor of Ondo state it has shown that power is transient and that nature abhors vacuum.
Late Rotimi Akeredolu has been engaged in a bitter running battle with his deputy Lucky for months.
Two months ago the deputy governor almost got impeached if not for the intervention of president Tinubu who waded into the matter and called for a truce.
